Ryokan traditionnel ou comment entasser 3 fut on et 1 lit dans moins de 20m2, et pas d?espaces pour poser les valises . Dormir sur le tatami, c'est 1 concept, mais attention au dos. Notre hôte à accédé à notre requête :a partir de notre 3ème nuit on nous a installé de bons matelas sous nos futurs. Cote hospitalité, hôte peu accueillante, aucun échange, et on ne nous a jamais offert un thé.

Traditional Japanese room in old quarter of Kyoto very near beautiful sites of interest. Very friendly and kind host but could speak very little English. Noisy for sleeping as the walls are traditional sliding paper room dividers so take ear plugs as you can hear every sound. We had to share a bathroom though it was very modern and clean.

God beliggenhed i Gion-kvarteret. Meget autentisk og hyggeligt sted. Ikke ryokan-classic oplevelse eller super komfort. Men god til prisen og venligt personale

This property was beautiful and traditional, and in a wonderful area. The hosts were very accommodating and provided us with everything we asked for, including Japanese tea with the traditional cups and tea pot. The location was very convenient, and everyone we passed seemed to be very friendly. We saw maiko-san and geiko-san (also known as geisha) pass by from the balcony in the evenings. The only bathroom available to us was shared, but it was clean and spacious. No bath, only a shower. We learnt a very small amount of Japanese for our trip, which was useful and was very appreciated buy the people we encountered, so I would recommend trying this.

Loved the Japanese traditional style house. Very comfortable and great location.

the location is nice but reception is not open all day long .it only opens around 15h and only if people ate coming.not possible to wash clothes.we booked a room for 4 and we end up in a room for 2. personnal was nice but after check out not seen ar all. not possible to have al least hot water.no common room .

Prachtige, 130 jaar oude ryokan, sanitair gemoderniseerd en prima, een van de mooiste straatjes in Kyoto. Als Hollandse wel wat moeite om op de vloer te leven. De liefste eigenaresse ever. Ik kom er zeker terug maar niet meer voor 10 dagen

교토에서 다다미방 체험 해보고 시퍼서 갓는데 너무 낡앗더라구요 특유의 이상한 냄새가 방에도 그렇지만 공동 욕실에서도 나고.. 특히 옆방에서 그냥 가벼운 얘기 나누는 거 다들릴 만큼 방음취약합니다
