Honeymooners first time in Maui, we loved this hotel. In the touristy North-west section of Maui but right on the beach (beautiful sunsets), facility amenities were exactly what we were hoping for. Clean site and rooms, spacious room with full kitchen and living room and a washer/dryer in-unit. Concierge service was excellent at helping us book the tours/events we wanted despite short notice. Could have benefitted from more information about the facility at check-in, did not realize we had beach chairs available to us in the room until our last day and briefly locked out of our room due to a clerical error but minor issues and the latter was addressed timely. Would stay here again!

Oceanfront property with individually owned condos, so every unit is different. Very nice service, beautiful grounds with well maintained Weber gas grills, swimming pool and access to the beach boardwalk. Walking distance to Dukes and the Maui Craft Show. Unit came with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The kitchen wasn't adequately equipped, but was enough to make breakfast and simple meals. We definitely will be back.

Didn't get to really enjoy the property at all as we flew in late night on 08/06/2023. Was able to enjoy one day at the property on 08/07, between going into Lahaina to check out the sites. Enjoyed the beach, but never got to enjoy the property after the 7th due to the Maui fires. We were displaced outside of Lahaina and were not able to get back to the resort to retrieve our things. But from the one day we were there, it was nice, clean, great views, easy access to the beach & at check in was welcomed with a nice surprise of a room upgrade. Hope to visit again one day.
We stayed during the tragic wildfire that devastated Lahaina. I salute the employees there who helped keep guests informed and continued to provide service despite the impact to their own lives.
My family has been coming to Maui for over 18 yrs and we've always stayed at the Mahana. We love it! And every time it feels like home.
