"A lovely and friendly base to explore Northumberland"

Everyone at the Tankerville Arms was friendly and professional. The room we stayed in (the French room) was beautiful with a lovely view out to the hills. Sunday lunch was also a real treat and they had some lovely wines. The village itself is also beautiful and a perfect location for exploring alnwick, the coast etc. Our dogs were also made to feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back

Really liked the style of the hotel looked at vely period property. Cosy very comfortable and spotless. Food excellent.

Nothing really to dislike. We are not keen on dogs being on where food or drink is served but you can hardly find anywhere where this does not occur.

Location, decor and homeliness, staff and food all really good. Have to say being an expert on traditional cooked breakfasts this one was exceptional especially the fried bread, Will be going back just for the breakfast

Very warm and cosy. The staff were lovely - made us feel welcome. The food was lovely. We really enjoyed the Northumberland breakfast. Great coffee too and the staff ensured we had everything.

That we had to leave!!
