This hotel is one of the best we've visited, ever. The hotel is conveniently located, almost overlooking I-95 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire... but you'd never guess that from how quiet the hotel is. Everything in this hotel feels both modern and luxurious. We've stayed at this hotel several times, and it's easily one of our favorites anywhere in New England. Great value, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfy rooms that offer everything we'd like, and a location that's ideal whether you're on the road or vacationing at the Seacoast.

Nothing. Everything at this hotel was exactly what we wanted, and better. The accommodations, the location, the staff, the breakfast, easy parking... everything was great.

Our 3rd time at this location. Works great for us and our dog. Easy to walk her behind the hotel, and very comfortable rooms for humans! We arrived early and were able to check in, relax and escape the heat wave. Thank you@

This hotel offers two of the most essential reasons to stay at a Portsmouth (NH) hotel when you're traveling to - or through - that area. That is, it's both super-easy to get to, from I-95, and it's a quiet, luxurious place for a great night's sleep. From the easy check-in to the thoughtful design and features of this hotel, it was one of our best experiences in Portsmouth. (This was not a surprise during our July 2025 visit; we've stayed at this hotel many times.) The rooms are spacious. The beds are among the best we've found at any hotel. The size of the refrigerator, the quality of the linens - bed and bath - were extras we don't always find at chain hotels like this. What we liked best was the quiet, thanks in part to the many trees surrounding the hotel. Soundproofing between rooms is also superb. The ease of driving to this hotel - just two turns, minutes from leaving I-95 - is also great at the end of a long journey. The staff are friendly and often add humor to their answers to questions about the area. Their breakfast service - purchased when we made our reservation - was above average; we especially liked that there's no large TV blaring in a corner of the dining room. However, there are a few very small, quiet TVs tucked in the corners of the dining area, so you can get caught up on news and weather while eating, if you like. All in all, this is one of our favorite hotels, anywhere in the U.S., when we're traveling. There isn't anything that we can criticize about it, and there's plenty to rave about. That's rare in a hotel so convenient to a major highway.
