Beduin Star Trail Camp

Star Trail Beduin Camp was amazing! I spent two nights in a luxury tent with a private bathroom and a picture window that faced some breathtaking rock formations. I highly recommend booking this--I woke up early to watching the sunrise come up in the desert. The camp is at an incredible location. The food is amazing, the camp is clean and has internet. The hosts are a wonderful and very hospitable family. They replied very quickly to any questions I had before I got there. I was also able to book a jeep tour and a camel ride through the camp Four hours by jeep in Wadi Rum was a highlight of my Jordan trip. If I did it over again I would book six hours. I saw so much but I wish I had more time to see more of the rocks and landmarks. I highly recommend booking with them. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe here.

Location is amazing - the camp is large and quiet. Far away from the rest. Rooms are comfortable. Value for money is great. Khaled, jihad and ahmed have been very hospitable.

The camp was in a great location!! you could not see any other camps from the picture window in the tent and no trucks passed by. It is close enough to the Barak canyon to walk to and have a look around. The food was really good! The brothers that own it are very nice.

the pillows are rock hard (though I think that’s pretty standard for the camps so not to worry- just be prepared). also don’t expect a warm shower (also standard just good to know in advance). I would totally stay here again!!

A great place to stay in the desert! nice view and very kind host. They where willing to arrange the things for us that you want to do in the desert.

Great location. Secluded and no traffic passing by. Khalid and his brother are very friendly and helpful. We also did a jeep tour, organized by Khalid and he got us a fair price on a taxi to Aqaba. The rooms are like new and have electricity, toilet and shower. Also great food for dinner. Would definitely go back again

- Extremely attentive staff. - Very nice window view - Awesome location: camp is located in really wild area, there is no traffic of dozen jeeps, close position of many rocks, great opportunities to see sunrises and sunsets, excellent conditions for climbing and hiking. - A great place to explore the starry sky.

- Please note: WiFi was available throughout the camp (public area and tents), however it doesn't mean internet was available: there NO internet most of the time, and NO mobile connection all the time (at least for my roaming sim). - "Room" (tent) itself: very small for 2 person, uncomfortable bed, no facilities (no chair, no hanger), no terrace (despite the fact it is declared), room lighting is insufficient, small towel.

The environment: there aren't other camps around, so is like more private. Also, the dinner was really amazing, you could repeat as much as you wanted and the cooking method they used was super interesting (and healthy!) Room and dinner/breakfast tents were really cozy, clean and comfy. Khalid was really thinking about our comfort and always asking how was everything, even night before we were going to stay in his camp he was writing us to schedule perfectly our pick up. In few words, I totally recommend it!

The only detail to mention is that we didn't have hot water in the shower and the pillows were really thin (in my opinion), but still not big deal or something too important to care about :)

It's was relatively fast decision to travel to Jordan. Camping selection was almost random and really successful! We felt as visit family. We were surrounded by attention and care all the time. We got a lot of help with our trip planning and organization. The timing was precise, we really enjoyed our short vacation and nothing bothered it. Definitely we will be back to Khaled's camp.
