This was a clean and quiet hotel right outside of town. It was no frills and a bit out of downtown, but a good hotel. We were going to walk back at night from downtown since it was close enough but ended up driving. It was about 8 miles from the Marfa lights viewing platform. Friendly check in.

This was our second trip to Marfa. Last time we stayed at the El Paisano which is a good hotel we enjoyed. We stayed there for the historic ambience. On this trip, we knew what we wanted to see and do before we got to Marfa, and it was not a destination, but a 4th day stop on a 7-day trip. The room was very clean and well-furnished. It happened to be cold while we were there, but the room was very warm and comfortable. The room rates were at least 40% less than the two hotels in town and the quality of sleep was as good as the El Paisano, in my opinion. You'll have to drive half a mile to get into shopping and gallery area, and there is no place to eat on the property, but for me the price difference more than makes up for that. I'd stay here again.

Quiet, Comfortable nights stay and clean.

Never refreshed our room between day 1&2. This is a old motel with entrance from parking lot. You could see light and hear wind through door. Would not stay again.

I loved it was on outskirts of Marfa - nice and quiet location AND not far from the Marfa “alien - ufo lights”. Owner very friendly and changed our rooms when I asked for a walk in shower for my 92 year old mother. It was a lovely handicaped unit with gorgeous shower and tons of room to move about in her walker.
