Great Breakfasts and host was full of excellent recommendations.

Both breakfasts excellent. Narrow lanes in location quite tricky, but the Host made us fully aware of this as soon as we booked and gave us full instructions on how to avoid sat nav directions. He also gave us good directions on our day out.

Everything about the stay, it was an accidental find but it was fantastic. Paul could not have been more helpful and his breakfast and attention to detail was superb, freshly prepared fruit, local produce and general chat and advice were all greatly received. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate, the bed was real comfy and we slept soundly. The breakfast room was cosy with a nice view of the garden and colourful birds around the bird feeder. There was plenty of information and advice on things to do and where to eat, plus a bit of gruesome history behind the origin of the hotels name (going back several hundred years). This is a part of the country that we have not visited for 40 years but it is somewhere we would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful B&B in a lovely Dorset village. Paul is a terrific host with lots of knowledge and help for places to visit while staying. Every attention to detail has been thought of and the result is an outstanding place to stay. Great breakfast!

It’s a beautiful property with a very nice and helpful host. My room was a good size and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent with various options available. It was ideally situated for my trip and very well priced bearing in mind location and time of year. Attention has been paid to all the little details to make sure everything is perfect.

Paul made us feel very welcome, the room was spotless and the breakfast was superb.

It isn't a dislike but it is quite remote which was good in one way but took a while to get to other places we wanted to visit.

We loved everything about our stay. The rooms were lovely and had everything you could possibly need. Paul was so helpful, even providing us with pre printed directions to the restaurants we were going to. His breakfasts were great, a lovely selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and jams and of course the cooked breakfasts made to order. We plan to return as soon as we can.

Attention to detail. Paul was always willing to give advice and help. Food was amazing and delicious
