Thorn Tree Bush Camp

All of the staff that we met were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bush views from all of the accommodation option were great with a lot of birdlife around. A great location, close to the self-drive route in Dinokeng.

We liked the Game drive and we enjoyed it very much.

The beds were hard and very bad. The bathroom was clean but the maintenance very bad as the shower tap was broken off.

The stay was really great and my whole family of 9 really enjoyed it. Staff and owner were extremely helpful and facilities were as expected. A great weekend

The actual booking on Booking.com was confusing as up until the actual booking was made and confirmed my wife and I who are in our 70's did not know that our 2 sleeper accommodation was in a converted roof top tent. This could have been a major inconvenience if we were not as agile as we are. We were offered alternative ground level accommodation swap out at the venue which we elected not to take as sleeping in a rooftop tent was a novel adventure for us. The electric geyser which was supposed to supply hot water to my daughter's family attached bathroom at the Umbrella Thorn Family tent never ever worked properly which was very inconvenient for a family with 2 small children as an attached bath facility's were their express requirement. Other off tent hot water facility's were however supplied.

Really enjoyed the game drive. All the staff at Thorn Tree were super friendly and efficient.
