La moitié de l'établissement est cachée derrière un nouveau bâtiment en construction, réception à l'étage pas accessible à l'arrivée; entrée de l'hôtel difficile à trouver, pas indiquée, par un petit chemin entre deux bâtiments

Dommage que la vue soit partiellement masquée par une nouvelle construction

It was affordable and the staff on duty was friendly.

Initially I was booked into room 2.2. The bathroom has no ventilation. The ceiling and walls were covered in mould with an unsettling smell which you can’t ignore. To me this intensity of mould is a health hazard. The bedsheets wasn’t clean. In the centre of the sheet there was still a spot of blood from what could have been a mosquito bite from the previous person. The sheet had an array of other dirt marks on it too. I requested to leave and get a refund by messaging the host but didn’t get a reply. A bit later I got hold of the staff member on duty (a friendly guy who apologised). He offered me a different room, nr 2.5. The new room’s bed sheet also wasn’t clean, so he replaced with a fresh sheet (though it also had stains on.) He apologised again. The water in the basin took ages to drain. The wifi network mentioned on the login card didn’t show up when scanning from my phone. Overall I had better experiences for the same/less money.

Straight at the rice terraces

Nobody around in the mornings - the room smelled of sweat - it was disgusting. Also the building looked very run down. Felt more like a basic hostel than a hotel.

LOCATION! Adhi Jaya has perhaps the best views over the terraces of any of the accommodation in Jatiluwih. The Adhi Jaya has been a regular for some years, and I stop for a night on EVERY trip to Bali. The room is spotless, aircon efficient, has coffee/tea making facilities, bed and pillows comfortable, and wifi fast and reliable. Rooms 4 & 5 are now the best for views, with a new restaurant blocking views from others. AJ is only a short walk from the viewing point for early morning pics of the sunrise over Mounts Agung and Batur, and hose views are spectacular. Right across the road from the viewing point is a lady serving a traditional Balinese breakfast and coffee/tea, the cost of which is almost nothing.

The access has become difficult with the development of a restaurant property in front of AJ. It blocks he views from some of the rooms, and will no doubt increase noise levels. Parking is now about 50 meters distant, and a narrow walkway along the irrigation canal is uninviting. There is currently no sign showing where the entry is, and it badly needs one. I was lucky that a staff member was on the verandah, and I got his attention. He came down to meet me.

wifi wasn't stable

Fantastic veranda view. Morning sunrise was beautiful. Perfect location to stay and to walk around the rice fields.
