La Villa di Sofia

L'endroit était magique, mieux que sur les photographies de votre site. La vue à couper le souffle dont je ne me suis pas lassé de contempler jour et nuit Le lieu était parfait pour recevoir en toute tranquillité sa famille et passer de bonnes vacances L'hôte nous a donné les clés de a maison en nous expliquant parfaitement son fonctionnement et les diverses activités et loisirs environnants. Tout était parfait, piscine, petite salle de sport extérieure , barbecue. Très proche des criques aux eaux cristallines et à 5 minutes à voiture de très bons restaurants de la ville de Santa Flavia ou Bagheria. Merci Manola mes enfants et moi avons apprécié notre séjour

However, a few small things that were a little annoying: - there is no dishwasher - it's the 21st century after all. Hard water - install a filter and softener. - the owners ask you to sort your garbage, while in the entire area of ​​the town of Santa Flavia (as in all of Sicily) - there are entire garbage dumps on the streets. It seems that Sicilians sort their garbage and then throw it right into the street. Incomprehensible. - the grill area is beautifully done, with an open fire, a gas stove, and a pizza oven. Only that stove doesn't turn on, and there is no pizza topper next to the oven. - The pool railing is barely alive, I'm afraid it will break.

unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant stay so it is hard to find much good to say about it. the view was nice, but there are better villas on the island with nicer views.

this is not a 4 bed villa, it is a 3 bed villa with a completely separate annex for the 4th bedroom( in a basement) we weren’t even given access to the 4th bedroom and did not know this until we checked in. didn’t even know it existed until after we left. the property was dirty, the floors unclean. the pictures look nothing like the actual villa which is in fact very tired and in need of work. the couch in living room is very uncomfortable. the kitchen is creaky and old. the hot water did not work in the villa ever, it was warm then cold then warm then cold. it wasn’t warm enough to even bathe our baby with despite them claiming they had fixed it. one day, a storm caused all water to be off in the villa, couldn’t even flush toilets or wash hands. this was fixed pretty quickly (half a day) but it was horrible while it happened. not the owners fault, but something to keep in mind as it can surely happen again. it also caused the gate to break so we were stuck inside until we were instructed how to get it to work again. we ended up checking out early and have not received any help with our stay from the owners, who argue against all points we have made and take no ownership for the issues.
