The room was clean, however, there was no heat. Apparently they use a boiler system and they hadn’t turned it on yet. My sister in law actually slept in her clothes because she was so cold. We were not notified of this ahead of time because we would have cancelled and moved to a different hotel

The property is basic but clean and has a great location

This is a gem of a hotel. It’s off the beaten path and is comfortable, clean a little small but quaint. There are nice restaurants connected to the hotel.

Continental breakfast in the morning was very basic. Thank goodness for coffee! I loved the two restaurants connected to the hotel., both Boneshakers and Quaker State served great tasting food and cocktails. One of the best chocolate martinis I have had! The TV in my room only got 3 channels so had to go out to watch football games. Would have preferred to have a room with a window. I liked having a room on the ground floor, the upper level was closed. All in all a great room for a good price.
