Location, rooms, breakfast

There was a half drunk bottle of Fanta orange and an open bag of haribo sweets in the room when I checked in which created a poor impression of the cleanliness standard.

Breakfast was lovely and quality ingredients. Self service was well laid out.

The gym was very small. In the pool lessons took up the swimming lane. On arrival we told the check in we were there for my husbands 60 th and booked dinner in the resturant. On the way in the waitress said they would note his birthday at dessert and this did not happen. I think the spa 1 hour should be offered on the upgrade rooms especially when the pool is busy with lessons.

Enjoyable stay at the hotel. Great location, plenty of free parking and good breakfast. Top marks for gluten free toast station ! Staff really helpful and pleasant.
