Castlecourt Hotel

From start to finish myself and my husband had a fantastic memorable stay at the Castle Court Hotel, Westport. So clean with a fabulous atmosphere and great value for money. Location is great, short walking distance to the town or to take daily trips around the beautiful county of Mayo. Dinners and breakfast are amazing, the food is delicious and made even more enjoyable by the ever helpful smiling staff. We had a week to get to know the staff from Moria in the bar to Cormac, Arnold and Veronica in the restaurant. Special holiday only fault …. We had to leave to go home but we will be back. Robbie and Bernie.

My wife and I once again stayed at a hotel that always delivers 🙌 from the moment until the moment we left. The rooms were excellent, the food, amazing, and the hospitality, fantastic. I would like to mention particulary members of the wonderful staff, especially Arnold, Julie and also Veronica, her knowledge of the County was great 👍 we were able to visit places we otherwise wouldn't have known about. Thanks guys.

The Castle Court is lovely hotel. Location is very good, just a short walk across the bridge to the main area of Westport where the majority of shops & pubs are. The breakfast was very good. Our rooms all looked to be recently renovated. Courtyard was lovely to sit out and enjoy the sunshine.

We were in westport yesterday, Wednesday 27th. We decided to go for lunch in the castlecourt. The bar was quiet, but we were served by a lovely lady called Maura. We had the best lunch, and asked where we could eat that eve before we went home. She recommended coveys, portos. Places uptown but we decided to come back to hotel. We went to mays bistro and low and behold there she was again. She was still going and had a smile on her face. Lobby fabulous and food amazing. Thank maura, we will be back.

We stayed here for a large family trip to Westport and had a fantastic time. The hotel is great and ideal for all ages—the kids loved the pool, and the adults loved relaxing in the courtyard with an Aperol. The staff were all genuinely wonderful throughout our stay. We even got lucky with amazing, sunny weather. If the hotel can organise that for our next visit too, we’ll be very happy! Will definitely be back.

Parking excellent, location for town centre great

Bed was way to small and soft . Room was very hot and could not get a/c to work. Bfast starts too late for those who want to get out early

A fabulous hotel in a fabulous location and amazing food, we recommend The Castlecourt very highly. There were 2 weddings on while we were there and our stay was not in any way compromised. Most suitable for a quiet intimate celebration for ourselves.
