Cozy space with a unique history and a great view of Alyeska, conveniently located

The location could not have been more perfect. It was tucked away just off one of the main roads, with a beautiful view of the mountain from the kitchen window. We were just up the road from the local grocery store, the ski resort, and some great local eats. Hightower Pub was our favorite breakfast spot! Our room was just what we needed, cozy and comfortable. We also enjoyed access to the hot tub, and the kitchen during our stay. Our hosts were great and receptive to making sure we had what we needed. Would absolutely recommend!

Loved the history, layout, decor, and feel of the overall place! Spacious king bed, kitchen equipped for light meals, close to all of Girdwood and Alyeska Resort! Beautiful natural lighting when the sun was out. Hot tub great when other guests shared.

Having the hot tub is wonderful, maybe just finding a way to make sure guests only use it for an hour at a time? The first evening we arrived, guests were in the hot tub for hours, super loud and seemingly very intoxicated. Not the property or staff's fault at all! Just a bit unfair for other paying guests as we could not use the tub that night due to other guests' overuse and lack of respect for others staying at the same place.

Insufficient common space for guests. self-service breakfast with what's in the fridge, with limited choice. We're asked to do our dishes but there is a $50.00 amount in addition to the room price for cleaning.
