ILThe main thing is that this place is a Motel and not a Hotel, like it's presented on Booking.com. The beds are too soft, and heating is very loud and noisy. Overall this was not good value for money.

USDE** TOTALLY GROSS!!!!**** PICTURES DO NOT MATCH ACTUAL ROOMS** Upon checking in we found our room to be very dirty. There was human hair on the pillows - not just one, like someone had been sleeping there. There was also dog hair and food crumbs on the bedding so clearly it wasn't changed after the last guest. The bathtub/shower combo had heavy mildew and a ring around the tub. Even though we didn't request a room with an adjoining room that's what we got. The door between the rooms is a flimsy hollow door with a button lock on the knob. I didn't feel safe at all. We notified the office that we were cancelling our 3 night stay and opted to find other accommodations. The closest availability was 40 min. away from family that we came to visit. The Hillside Hotel refused even a partial refund despite the fact that their cancellation policy requires 48 hours notice. We should have been given a refund for the last night since it was well within the 48 hours required.
