Courtyard Toledo Airport Holland

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Toledo Airport Holland while attending a soccer tournament for my son. The hotel itself was nice and well-kept, and the service was commendable. The location was convenient for our needs, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed late at the courtyard and they didnt say anything and let us enjoy the good time However, the breakfast left much to be desired, and the on-site restaurant didn’t meet our expectations. The food options were limited and not as satisfying as we had hoped. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive, and the hotel’s amenities and comfort made it a good base for our trip.

The AC in the first room was broken and there was urine stains around the toilet. The second room was better but carpets are dirty, tub was stained. The public areas carpets are dirty. The grounds are very nicely maintained but the building needs repairs and painting where the walls are cracked and broken. This hotel definitely needs some updates and repairs.

Hotel was good for the price. It was clean and in a good location.

The housekeeping staff did not ever come to my room. I pointed this out to the front desk who said I declined housekeeping. This isn’t accurate. The front desk brought me fresh towels the evening before check out but I ran out of toilet paper and had to buy my own. Frustrated about no housekeeping.

The location to Sylvania is convenient. The room is nice sized. They did give us extra coffee (2 packets for 2 people is not enough, so we rrequested extra.

The thing says breakfast. We were surprised to see you could not even get free coffee in the lobby. The advertise free wi-fi but I could not get in. They said if I put my room number and last name, I could get the 'other' wifi, but it would charge me. They finally conceded that their free version was not working, so I needed some form of wifi. They only had Starbucks. The dinner was triple what it would cost at a restaurant, and again it was limited items. Not paying 15.00 for a cold sandwich in their BISTRO. We left to go to Chili's restaurant and the hotel next door had 2 sheriff cars pull in to their lot. When we came back to hotel after dinner, there were another 2 sheriffs cars pulling in talking to people on upstairs walkway and the ground. When I left the next morning...2 more sheriffs coming. Glad to get out of area without encountering anything. For the price, I could have paid a little more and had that breakfast included, could have had coffee for my to-go cup in the morning, and not have been next to what has evidently turned into a seedy area. We have stayed at this location many times over the last 10 years, but I will not be back at this location. I just don't need that many headaches.

Not a good experience at all, my 16 month old was walking around playing and found somebody's fake nail in the floor and before I could get to her she put it in her mouth and the bathroom is extremely small and full of black mold definitely will not be coming back. I have pictures but it's not letting me upload them
