Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Waukegan / Gurnee

I am writing to express my absolute disgust and disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott. My experience was unacceptable on every level and completely beneath the standards your brand claims to uphold. Upon check-in, my first room was filthy—the toilet had visible skid marks, and the shower was dirty. I immediately requested to be moved, only to be given what seemed like the noisiest room in the hotel, where I then discovered urine stains on the bed sheets. This level of negligence is appalling. When I attempted to extend my stay, I was told the hotel was sold out. However, when I went online, I was easily able to book another room for the same night—which clearly shows poor communication or unwillingness to assist me properly. I’ve stayed at Marriott properties many times, and I’ve never experienced such a complete lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and care for guests. This stay has left me extremely disappointed and disgusted. I expect a formal apology, an immediate review of the housekeeping and front desk staff involved, and compensation for the unacceptable conditions and inconvenience I endured.

Amazing service and location! We could walk to get anything!

Saubereres Hotel, Zimmer sauber und man kann die Balkontüre Öffnen. In USA eher eine Seltenheit, daher war das sehr erfreulich.

Leider bekommt man auch bei einer Buchung mit Übernachtung inklusive Frühstück, für ein Zimmer mit zwei Personen nur ein Frühstück inklusive und muss das zweite Frühstück zahlen. Das ist sehr ärgerlich und nicht zu verstehen. Auch ein nachfragen hatte keinen Erfolg. Also in Zukunft am besten immer ohne Frühstück übernachten und Außerhalb Frühstücken! Lage am Highway Kreuz sorgt leider bei geöffnetem Fenster für Lärm.

Awesome stay! Stayed here with my son while visiting his bf graduating from basic. Wonderful location so convenient to everything.
