Nordic Host - Deichmans Gate 10

The lounge is large and well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the the toilet and shower, no complaints. I might have went at a particularly hot weekend but 1 small desk fan was not enough. The location is a 10 out of 10. The communication with the owner was fab.

I was told about building works on the day of our arrival. On a non refundable booking this is not acceptable. We were woken up from 8am with machinery. Less than ideal. What I could not get over was watching people inject drugs in the park which you cannot miss at it is next to the view offered by the tv. Others were smoking crack cocaine. The owner did apologise and tried to explain it was a societal problem. Not on my holiday it is not. I travelled with my son and I can state if I went with my wife I would have insisted on my money back.

The front is under construction but it is totally understandable and looks to be very nice when they finish.

I enjoyed interior design of the property, very spacious and homey.

I did not like the construction going on in the hallway/staircase.

This was one of the best places that I have stayed while traveling. Norway can be expensive, but the fully equipped kitchen (and I mean fully equipped to include a full complement of spices) made it easy to save money through cooking breakfast and dinner. The apartment was decorated and maintained with items as if one lived there, not just IKEA furniture. Several grocery stores within a 200-meter walk of the apartment.

It is about a 15-minute walk from the train station to the apartment. Not really a bus line or trolly line that allows a visitor to shorten the walk.

The apartment is in a historical building, and boasts a beautiful, sun-drenched, living room with views on a park. The kitchen is truly fully equipped, and the floor heating makes the apartment even more cozy. Many stores and eateries are within easy walking distance.

Location,apartment size, comfort, furniture design, kitchen appliances, area is very calm and in the centre, everything is in walking distance. I loved to stay there and will definetely return again
