IntercityHotel Kiel

The location of the hotel is ideal! Just a few steps from the train station and across the street from the ferry to nearby locations. Other city points of interest are within walking distance. My room had a harbor view so it was quite pleasant.

The hotel is one linear building. So depending on the where your room is located with regard to the elevator, it could be a bit of a walk....my room was about 100 yards from the elevator.

If you arrive by trIn and leave Kiel again by train and just stay briefly, the location by itself is ideal.

My room was facing the parking deck and the station. It was relatively noisy (0k, the announcements from the station were to be expected in a hotel that basically is part of the station - drunken football fans not) as the window needed to stay open to get at least some air in the overheated room - no aircondition… Also: no free water in the room (haven’t experienced that for years), an extremely slow elevator (again overheated) and no infrastructure for cyclists whatsoever.
