Hampton Inn Iowa City/Coralville

Clean, updated facility. Very good breakfast ! Breakfast attendant was kind and courteous, making sure we had fresh coffee. Fresh baked muffins, real ceramic plates with silverware...nothing disposable! Fried eggs, sausage patties biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit!

Beds were clean and comfortable but my bed had a huge divot, making your head way lower than my feet. I flipped around and slept at the foot of the bed which made a world of difference!

No washer dryer laundry facility

The bar attached is nice feature but they close at 10.

Room smelled like sewer. When asked why we were not by our friends we were told it was only king suite. We ordered king room mini suite. Had the usual chair, microwave, fridge and desk. Nothing unique about that except in basement as far away as it could be. No couch or extra seating. A basic king room. Would not recommend.

location was good , attached restaurant, plenty of parking, continue breakfast was very good

Rooms were nice but small, the bathroom door has no lock on it which is stupid and there is no fan in the bath room
