Plenty parking room. Our room was on second floor and the view was good. I would have loved to be on a higher floor bc without a doubt the view would have been amazing! Beautiful beach. Each day the rental chairs were set up in the mornings. I liked that we had a private entrance to our room. We had the Bahamas suite with gulf view. We had a full sized fridge, microwave, sink and double cooktop. There was a large pot, small pot and one pan, spoons, forks and butter knives. Coffee maker used pouches which I couldn’t find our preferred coffee in pouches so I bought a small coffee maker. Although I stated I would have liked to been on a higher floor I have no complaints about our stay. Check in/out was smooth. I give this place a 10/10.

Worst experience ever. Dirty hotel. Room was infested with roaches. Literally saw over 20 roaches. They were on the couch, bed, rug, literally everywhere. They had already gotten inside my luggage. It was disgusting. I had to check my bags everyday after that. Stay away. Bathroom doors don’t even close.. The guy at front desk didn’t want to help. He refused to change us to another room. He did not care. He just sent someone to spray the room. It ruined the first night of my baby moon.

We loved the rooms, they were renovated nicely and very spacious. The view from our room was amazing.

A few things that I did not like was there were no iron in the room you had to request a steamer. Also, the elevators were not the cleanest and there was no air conditioning so it just made the elevator very muggy and sticky.

Dirty, stinky; the windows faced the pool on the first floor. I could not even open the blinds. Lumpy mattress. I asked to change rooms 5 min after I checked in and was told that all rooms are busy, even though people just started checking in at 4 pm

To be fair and unbiased, I’ve included a Pros and Cons list below. However, I want to highlight our biggest disappointment during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. We understood we weren’t booking a five-star hotel, but we did pay extra for a Gulf view. Upon arrival, we were assigned a third-floor room, but the balcony view was largely obstructed by the pool area, with the slide and pool activity being the main sights and sounds. It was very disheartening to realize we wouldn’t be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. My husband spoke with the front desk shortly after viewing our room, and the employee was kind and understanding and suggested we check back the next day to see if any other rooms might be available (they were booked solid that night). When we did, another employee informed us that third-floor rooms technically qualify as Gulf view rooms and said nothing could be done. To us, we felt like we were being told we paid the same price for the worst version of the room that they can technically get away with calling a Gulf view. We were hopeful when she took our contact information and promised a manager would call us, but we NEVER received a call. Rather than spend more of our vacation pursuing the issue, we accepted the situation, but it was frustrating to pay extra for a balcony view we were never able to enjoy. Overall this with the other cons listed below made our vacation much less enjoyable. Cons: • The “Gulf view” room we paid extra for was largely obstructed by the pool, making it feel more like a pool-view room. We were disappointed that we couldn’t relax on the balcony and enjoy the ocean sights and sounds as expected. • The room was extremely humid despite the AC cooling the space. Bedding felt damp throughout our stay, and the humidity even affected paper items, food, and medications. We’ve stayed in other Florida beachfront hotels and never experienced anything comparable. • The room and floors had noticeable sand upon arrival, and it was constantly all over our feet. Even with housekeeping and our efforts to manage it, it often felt like there was sand in the bed. • Onsite laundry was inadequate. One laundry area was closed, and the other had only three frequently occupied washers, forcing us to use a laundromat. • The mattress protector appeared to have mold and blood stains on it. Pros: • The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Chair and umbrella rentals were available at reasonable prices (~$50 for the entire day for 2 chairs and an umbrella). • The onsite food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. Slow Wake Coffee and Donuts served excellent coffee and an amazing breakfast burrito, while Manatee’s Tiki Bar offered an enjoyable lunch.

This was my first time staying at a Wyndham Garden and the experience was not pleasant. My room TV did not work, the phone microphone did not work until we figured out it had to be on speaker. The A/C in the room had to be on 63 degrees in order for the floors to stay dry from humidity. We could not keep the room that cold with children so we had to constantly mop the floors with towels. The toilet leaked constantly which made the floor wet. To top it off the front desk manager the next morning was not nice. She told me I could not have a 1pm checkout for my two reservations, and I could only do late checkout at noon in one room. My sister talked to another manager and she allowed for the 1pm checkout for both rooms. This experience was not what I expected from a Wyndham property and I will not book again.
