"Really great hotel with one caveat"

EVERY staff member we saw greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Front desk, housekeeping, breakfast room - they all wished us a nice stay or a nice day; the epitome of southern hospitality. It was apparent maintenance staff are doing the best they can with the structure and housekeeping work to keep everything clean, but ...

My in-laws stayed in 315 and we were in 215 below them. Their ceiling had extensive water damage that had been painted over. Our ceiling damage was over the 70s-style Jacuzzi and not the bedroom, but it was apparent our room had suffered water damage as well. All four of us had nasal symptoms from shortly after check-in until we left the hotel the next morning. I didn't have a test kit, but I would bet a paycheck the spots we saw on the walls (not huge spots, but one was the size of a half dollar) were mold. It is obvious the management and staff work to keep this hotel updated as much as possible. Hopefully someone in management will see this review and get the mold problem addressed because if they don't get it handled, they're going to make those great staff members as well as their guests very sick.

"Very restful except for the squeaky bed"

Convenient and good value. Front desk staff person have had both times has been great.

Bed is super squeaky. Heat/air unit has a problem cycling. Can’t decide whether to turn in or not.

After taking sheets off bed there was green cystal rocks and pebbles on the bed why we could not sleep well. Bit manager rectified situation off refund. We have stayed before excellent service

"Worst motel stay ever."

Was very disappointed, staff was just lovely however the room was unsafe, all plug in receptacle were low lose and would hardly hold a plug, and the motel didn't even have a fan when requested one.
