The Capitol Hotel Downtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Location and staff were great.

Elevator was out of order from the lobby. Rooms were dated and very old, no batteries in tv remote upon checking. Water and soaps made my skin dry and itchy

The location was perfect to attend a concert at Nissian Stadium. The staff was friendly.

Understanding Nashville is a party town gave the other patrons reasonable amount of time to go to their rooms even though intoxicated. We all have had those nights out having a grand time and I get being loud trying to get into the room but this was all night. I waited an hour before the first call. Had to call the front desk twice to get security to come tell the other people who were all talking in the hallway and slamming doors once at 1am and once at 2am. Did not stop there it was all night long. Please know the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and I mean everything. The lobby elevator was down had to use the outdoor elevator. The valet parking takes forever to drop off and pick up. The beds squeak every time you move. If you want to sleep at all would never recommend this hotel.

1 mile from Broadway scene. Average breakfast, but some hot items.

Parking is expensive we paid $35/night +tax.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was also a welcome bonus!

Honestly everything was great!

Location was a easy walk to Broadstreet. Breakfast room had a good selection. The rooms were very comfortable.

Access to rooms was a little challenging due to the remodeling.

It’s a basically a motel charged as if it’s a decent hotel.
