Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel

Great parking. Good views of beach.

Slow elevators. Carpet on floors should be tile or vinyl.

The front desk staff was great. Very informative and we got a box of taffy at check in.

The staff was friendly and dedicated to making our stay enjoyable. The facility is kept spotless. It was great to have so many restaurants right next to and across the street. We were able to walk.

My friend and I both have leg/knee issues, and the beach access was very difficult to maneuver, especially with our beach equipment. To go out on the beach, there were steep steps going up and then steep steps going down. There was a way to avoid the steps by walking to the pier, walking under it, and then out to the beach, but it was quite a bit of walking. For this reason, we will not be able to stay here again.

Room was clean. The water pressure in the shower was great, though my family said it was too much. There were a handful of great restaurants around the hotel that offered discounts since we were staying close. Though there wasn't much shopping or activities within walking distance, it was not a long drive to Broadway at the Beach or to the main boardwalk. The hotel does offer boardgames and such in the lobby for families to enjoy. There was great access to the beach.

Though it didn't bother my family, for some there is no direct beachfront overlook. All rooms face off the side of the building but still show a view as there is nothing to block the view. The pool is a little small, so if you have a large family with lots of kids it could get crowded quickly. They do offer pool towels so you don't have to worry about bringing any.

It was steps away from the beach and restaurants, parking was easy, the pool was clean and had plenty of chairs for lounging. There was entertainment under the pier right next door. Balcony views were fantastic and I could walk down the beach every morning. It was great!

There is nothing we didn’t like.

We had a great stay! The staff were very courteous. The hotel is located in the perfect location of walking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also walk to the pier. I can’t wait to come back.

A huge shoutout out to Kristina at Surfside Beach Ocenfront Hotel. She is the absolute best and made sure our stay was amazing! When I booked our family trip I contacted the Hotel due to some questions I had and Kristina instantly made me feel like this was about to be a great stay and a great experience and it was that and more! We had such a great time! Kristina deserves employee of the year for how amazing she was with ensuring everything was amazing! She had a great attitude, cheerful, and beyond helpful and I was so glad I got to meet her in person once we arrived. We definitely will stay at this hotel again, everything was so nice and super clean.

All rooms have an ocean view just not a direct one. You can only see the ocean from the balconies which are on the side of the building. There are no rooms that directly face the ocean. Rooms are also very small and ours had an odor but the location and the surroundings made up for it
