Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel

Staff is always so wonderful. Love that its quieter more family oriented. Favorite restaurants without driving.

To many chairs which made room feel tight. No tub. The thermostat wouldn't go below 66. I have an auto immune disease that keeps me from regulating my body temperature. 66 just didn't cut it. We were told hotel had no fans. They did have a commercial fan that mantinence uses. It was so loud . Carpet was dirty . Wore a pair of socks in the room at night. When I took them off before bed , well lets just say made you wonder when the floors were cleaned last. The air and dirty carpet were never an issue before hope this was a one-time issue.

I had a wonderful time at Surfside . The staff is so pleasant and the hotel is the cleanest I have ever been in. There is nothing negative about this hotel!

We decided to take a quick trip to Myrtle Beach for golf. We chose the Surfside Pier since we know the area. We were right by a few places that made staying their easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. I love the security on the elevator that you can only use your room key to access the rooms above floor 3. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but they looked inviting. We were able to enjoy the outside deck and listen to nearby music. I would definitely go back.

Hotel was very clean and so convenient to multiple restaurants, bars, entertainment and an awesome fishing pier. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Steps away from the beach! Perfect!

Room are a little small.

First stay in Surfside and hope to return soon! Long drive for us so we only go to the Myrtle beach area about every 5 years or so. This hotel was amazing! It was right beside the pier, oceanfront, and within walking distance to several restaurants. All staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very updated and clean. This area has a lot safer, quieter, and family friendly atmosphere than Myrtle. The elevator and pool area require key card access which made us feel even safer and you can pull into the garage area to load and unload, which was very nice when it was raining. They offer free coffee which was also a plus. I did pay more, but we were only going a few days to pier fish and walk the beach so I felt it was worth the value. The only issues we had was it was cooler and windy when we went, especially out on the pier. Even with pants and hooded jackets, it was still very cool. Saw several big sharks from the pier so do not recommend swimming in the ocean water. Had hoped to find some nice shark teeth and shells but they ride and scrape the beach and never found anything other than a few small shells at low tide. Better weather and maybe a lazy river would have made the trip even better.

My wife and I stopped here overnight to visit family in Myrtle beach on our way to FL. We originally booked a stay in Myrtle Beach but the reviews were horrible so we sought to find a place with great reviews, and we found it in Surfside! The staff was exceedingly friendly, the hotel fragrance was very fresh, the room was excellent and the location to the beach, pier, and multiple restaurants within a stone’s throw was terrific. This is a great spot!
