Marco Polo Xiamen

Great experience at Marco Polo hotel in Xiamen. Good atmosphere, comfortable room, very helpful staff. I recommend especially Betty and Ella from 8th floor, who have been remarkable in their attentions.

Everything was perfect — the staff, the location, the beautiful park, the great places to eat, and the kind people. What more could you ask for?

The hotel is peaceful and truly wonderful, with an amazing staff who are always helpful and attentive. If you’re visiting Xiamen, this place is definitely worth staying at—the highlight is the breathtaking view from the hotel.

I have been travelling for some time and also in China, but my experience af the Marco Polo in Xiamen tops it all. The warm welcome, the incredible professional work of especially Nancy at the check in made me write this feedback. The word WOW could have been enough but her work and of her colleague was to good and to friendly without becoming “overdone and nagging” to leave unnoted And then the room ….what a joy to come “home” after a long full day of work. I often stay at the Marco Polo Xiamen and it always feels a bit like coming home. The location is fantastic — right by the beautiful Yundang Lake, with a great path around it for jogging or walking. The area around the hotel is full of cafés, restaurants, and bars, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere. The hotel itself is not the newest, but it has character and soul. There’s a certain “old money” elegance to it that gives the place a special charm. One of my favorite things here is the outdoor swimming pool — even in winter, a cold swim there feels incredibly refreshing. The staff are consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming. Since I stay here often, it feels like the team remembers you and genuinely cares. A particularly enjoyable moment of the stay is breakfast in the Business Lounge on the 8th floor. The atmosphere is bright and positive, the selection is not huge but everything is very tasty, and the service is excellent. Special thanks to Clare, a trainee working in the lounge. She is not only very friendly and welcoming, but also attentive and professional. Her warm smile and positive attitude make the start of the day especially pleasant.
