Quality Inn Texas City I-45

My review is good only due to the service level from the staff. Amazing set of knowledgeable staff who when out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and clean. The water pressure was the best we'd had as we've been travelling across the South.

The breakfast was underwhelming at best with yoghurt as the only protein option. Travelling with a family looking for hotels with breakfast made this one a disappointment. The pool was old and had many signs of wear, including rust stains and broken tiles that were bleached out with grime around coping. However, the staff looked after the water, and the pool was clear. The spa was also very broken down, drained, and covered in caution tape. The bathroom and bedrooms had pealing paint and a big need of TLC, but they were clean. Overall, if I were travelling alone for a single night, I might book this place with low expectations. However, with a large family in tow, I'd look somewhere else for better continental breakfast options and a safer pool experience.

Room stink covered by strong air freshener - bothered allergies. Elevator broken but not informed until late check in.

The elevator was out of order. The room had an unclean odor. The bathrooms and bedding need some updating. However, the staff were very nice and helpful when needed and the breakfast was good. Check in was easy. An overnight stay is ok.

I believe this is my 4th stay here , im familiar with this place. Its clean and quite, something this old man appreciates. The only complaint today is the elevator is not working. I had car trouble today and did not get here in time to get on the first floor. Had to take the stairs. Im 72 and it was a little ruff climbing them. I really like this hotel. I cruise alot out of Galveston and its pretty handy for me.

Roaches in the room

Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. Breakfast options were limited. However, it was quiet at night and the check-in hostess Sasha was very nice.
