Good family place

Close to the water, out of the way from busy Branson activity, mostly quiet, roomy. Staff was extremely nice via emails and in person.

5 beds-all full size (2 of which were pullout couch beds with extremely worn mattresses). Stained floors, trash and food still on the floor under the couches and behind dressers, stained bed linens that were haphazardly placed on the mattresses, CRUSTY residue and stains on the pillows, toilet rocked when you sat on it, bathroom faucet was broken, closet doors off hinges, thick built up dust on fan blades and tops of picture frames, dining table was sticky and still had food stuck to it, couches creaked if you moved an inch, tv remote barely functions, volume on the tv only goes up so much and when the washer was running we couldn’t even hear our show. The pictures shown in the listing on here didn’t show the outside of the actual building you’re in-which is basically apartments that aren’t very well taken care of (trash and spiders webs and wasp nests all over the place walking up to our room-we had a wasp nest directly above our door). Strange office hours. Upon leaving there was a couple arguing loudly in the parking lot directly behind our vehicle.

We stayed in the 500 building. There’s limited parking, the area around the building isn’t as nice as the newer buildings and pool. The trim to each side of the patio was coming off and wasps were flying around, so we weren’t able to enjoy the patio much. The stool had a piece of something under the front to keep it from rocking. The marina docks being close by was nice. The other amenities to maybe keep you around the “resort” aren’t there. The most memorable moment was starting the day with the strong odor of the septic. Depending on the day, it carried over into the night. For the amount of money spent, I will not stay in the older section again.

We had a great stay, it was clean. The pool was salt water pool was always really busy. My kids enjoyed it a lot.

The actual unit was ok.

The exterior and pool areas were gross. The noise level was insane. You could hear the people talking that were the next unit over, the unit below us, and the noise levels coming from upstairs were HORRIBLE! I went to use the clean dishes that were in the cabinet to put food on and when I pulled the plates out, they had standing water on them with old food still on them!! DISGUSTING!!!! The sheets did not fit the beds. The ac units were VERY NOISY! I went to the front desk to ask for a replacement room key and was not asked for any information. They handed me a key right over! I didn’t have to show an ID or anything! SCARY!!! I could’ve have been anyone!

Very comfortable and spacious

Resort was very nice. Updated flooring was good. A lot of items provided.

Need some cabinet space for food. All cabinets were full of items. Maybe condense some of the items and open cabinetry for food storage. Also BBQ grills could use updating.

We loved the 2 pools, the access to the lake and the kayaks/swimming docks. The closeness to SDC was a plus, too.

If it had a restaurant on site, that would’ve been awesome! No other complaints though.
