Good breakfast

The breakfast was very good, staff was so nice and the bed was very very comfortable.

Nothing

We asked for adjoining rooms and did not receive them. Front desk did not inform us that they were not adjoining. The carpet was “sticky “ dirty. Feet were black from carpet. The room was dirty, lamp shades stained.

I’d say the hotel was just okay. The room itself seemed pretty clean overall, but our room smelled like it had been smoked in. The beds were not comfortable at all. One of the drawers in the small dresser in the room wouldn’t stay shut so if you got up during the night you had to be really careful not to bump into it. The wood underneath the mini fridge seemed like something had eaten away at it. Not sure what it was but didn’t really want to think about it while staying in the room. The spout in the bathtub also was really loose and seemed like it was ready to fall out of the wall. There was also a weird smell in the hallways. Don’t know how to describe it, but it just smelled weird. The elevator seemed like it was from the 70’s and made me very nervous about using it. The breakfast was okay, can’t really expect anything great from a hotel breakfast so I’d say it was just passable. For the price compared to others in the area, I’d say you get what you paid for. Not a horrible hotel, but I think in the future it would be worth paying a bit more for a place that didn’t have weird smells and was better maintained. If you need somewhere as cheap as possible without being 100% disgusting, this is an okay option.

Clean quiet we could walk to a great little bar and have a drink and some food.

Smelled musty. I think the carpet has just been shampooed. Was still damp in places. Found a big toenail in my bed in the morning. Definitely not mine (I have a cute pink pedicure). Nextdoor neighbor was loud until midnight. Not good sound proof walls. Shower head was brown-ish at the water holes. I won't stay here again.

Room 203 needs a new latrine. We thought there was feces in the toilet - it was rust!

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was okay- worn and tired. Amenities were hit or miss, some mold in the pool and hot tub. Quality Inn seems to be on the border of the "nicer" area of LaCrosse and the "sketch area in transition." Lots of dark, little bars, cash advance. and pawn shops south. Moxie"s across the street is a fun, beachy atmosphere on the water. If I had it to do over again, I'd stay across the river in Minnesota.
