Hyatt Regency Mexico City

Not a good experience the customer service was bang on but I was very disappointed with the h&s gaps in the fire exit door frame I managed to get my entire arm through the gap dodgy electrical services got moved to another room after I complained to the service desk.not worth the money. Don't waste your money on this hotel!

Wonders few days in Mexico City, staying at wonder Hyatt Regency in Polanco(5th Ave of Mexico). Celebrated Milestone Bday and Hyatt made it special, very pleasant staff made our experience memorable and warrant a return trip back to this Hotel, surrounded by good eats and great vibes. Thank you!

Great hotel all around. Wonderful guest services from the concierge service to front desk to the housekeeping staff. They all aim to please. Hotel ambiance is very nice, welcoming and easy to navigate services. Rooms/beds, bedding/pillows etc all very comfy. Only negative were having to keep asking for towels every day. They were quick to remedy this however - some days we only had bath, other days no hand etc. Food in the restaurant was great. Especially the buffet breakfast. Wonderfully presented and tasty bread selection. Hotel is located in an area where you can walk to many restaurants, stores and sites. Take an uber everywhere - they are easy to be had and extremely reasonable.

I've stayed at a good number of Hyatt's over the years, and this is one of the best experiences I've had. The hotel is located in a pretty good area to get around, with the subway station just across the street. The hotel is in excellent condition, with very comfortable and spacious rooms and bathrooms. You know how most hotels don't have enough water pressure in the shower to rinse you off? Not here! The water pressure in the rainfall shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Every member of the staff were friendly and helpful and met any request I had with ease. The club lounge offers excellent "snacks" at dinner time - the most variety I've ever had at a club lounge, but the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was outstanding! Many buffets have an omelet station, as does this one, but I've never seen a quesadilla station! They were so good! The variety at the breakfast was excellent. Excellent stay and wouldn't hesitate again to stay here. I debated if I should stay at the other Hyatt, farther out, or the Andaz..and went back and forth, back and forth deciding. So glad I settled on this Hyatt. It's also in a very safe area, close to a pretty popular area for restaurants and parks.

The location is in heart of great restaurants and shopping. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with amenities that made the stay feel both relaxing and luxurious.

Booked the executive suite for my birthday. The entire suite smelled like sewage the entire stay and was never resolved. Could have put out air freshner or light a candle. The shower was clogged and not resolved until half way through my trip. Was not a great way to celebrate the birthday.

Good: - Comfortable beds - my fiancée and I almost never agree on beds when we’re traveling, and this was a rare moment when we both liked the bed. - Concierge - capable, professional, and accommodating! Fine: - Spa: pleasant but nothing special - Service/Staff: Everyone is nice, but stressed - seems like maybe they’re understaffed? It’s a BIG hotel so a lot to manage, so understandable to some extent, but don’t expect anyone to yield to you if you’re walking through a narrow space… best case they’ll try not to bump into you as they rush past. Room for improvement: - Room condition: Sheets with holes, fraying towels, damaged furniture. Rain shower didn’t have sufficient water pressure, so had to revert to the handheld shower head. Safe was running out of batteries and ran out on the second evening. - Housekeeping: The came to refill the mini-fridge, but didn’t clean the room up or replace towels, etc.. We had to call before heading out to dinner to get them to clean up. - Vibe: this place feels like it’s part of a conference center, and a lot of the other guests were obviously there for conferences. I wouldn’t recommend this place for vacation, because it feels like you’re on a work trip. - Food: There’s no shortage of quantity, but it’s not good. We had free breakfast included and by the second day, my fiancée didn’t even bother and I just went down to get something to hold me over until we went somewhere else to eat. Arrival: Nobody overseeing the arrivals rotary and no luggage carts, so you’re on your own with luggage until you make it to check-in and no longer need help.

The hotel facility needs renovations. I reported a banging noise from the entrance door. No one did anything. The staff did not bother to switch rooms either.
