Zamamia International Guesthouse

Hôtel qui fait complètement l’affaire sur la jolie île de Zamami. Bien placé dans le cœur du village. Les lit ne sont pas super confortables et l’auberge est authentique dans son jus, mais complètement ok pour un petit séjour pour visiter l’île. Bon rapport qualité prix:)

BIG regrets coming here. There are similar priced options for much, much better. This place is such a complete rip-off. Wish I'd stayed in Tokashiki, much nicer hostel there. They say they have a lounge area. LIES TV area? LIES Dining area? LIES AGAIN Kitchen? NOPE This place is basically a restaurant with an attached bed bunk area. So you're not allowed to eat your own food anywhere, besides there's no place to cook it anyway. They say you can eat outside on a small table in the heat, next to where everyone is smoking, great. Even if you just want to hang out, you can't sit in the restaurant because it's reserved for paying customers. No, not you the overpaying person sleeping there. For the ones that buy a burger. So there's actually no place at all to just sit and relax or talk to other travelers. The only place you can be is in your bed, that's it. The A/C is great, but the wifi doesn't work in the rooms. So that's another lie. Plus, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. They have really old, thin mattresses that have clearly never been rotated as they have body shaped dents. The walls are thin and it's super hard to get a good night's sleep. The curtains are half broken so you have no privacy. There are only 2 showers for 20+ people. The rental equipment is not included, over priced, and in really bad shape. They don't clean the snorkel gear, and the bikes are so rusty that you won't get anywhere too far. Half of them have faulty brakes too, so be careful! Check in is only open for 2 hours from 4-6pm, if you come earlier you will be greeted with unwelcoming faces. There is no place to leave your luggage. Neither before/after checking in, nor in the rooms themselves. They've packed those bunk beds in like sardines.
