Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Snorkeling equipment and bicycles are available for rent at very affordable prices (considering island prices). The location is excellent, within Zamami village and within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, and the port. The price-quality ratio is also very good, making it one of the few accommodations I found that offered a budget-friendly stay on Zamami Island.

Communication with the accommodation staff before our stay was not good. Since it was our first time in Okinawa and Zamami, and my only point of contact with these places was the accommodation I booked, I shared my plans with them, asking a few simple questions about the island, boat schedules, and whether boats are often canceled due to bad weather (given that we went in August, during typhoon season, and had a flight the day after check-out). The accommodation always replied in a dismissive and unwelcoming way. Despite this, the staff member who checked us in was nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The check-in process was quick and easy. However, since we traveled to Zamami on the 10 am boat, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we asked to store our bags at the hostel until we returned. We were told to leave our bags on the hostel’s porch outside the property, as there is no storage room inside. While Zamami is a safe island, we were a bit concerned about leaving our backpacks with valuables in a visible spot. Other guests in the same situation shared our concern.

ハイシーズンでZamamiにこの価格で泊まれるのは有り難いです。思ってたのより遥かに綺麗で清潔なドミでした。立地もよくフェリー乗船場からすぐで、マリンスポーツの待ち合わせ場所に近いので便利です。 スタッフはリゾバの方が多く、元気で明るいがホスピタリティはあまり期待できない。
