The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills - a DoubleTree by Hilton

I liked that the room was clean and there was a hot tub to soak in near the pool.

The walls of the hotel, where I walked were damaged to the point where I thought, why does this place cost so much to stay? The room was much smaller than I thought it would be, per the picture seen on the internet. I did order a room with a balcony and the room had a balcony but when I stepped out onto the balcony, at first it looked like there was nothing that could be seen from the balcony but a wall. It was just not what I had hoped for.

It was conveniently located for what I was in town for. There was a quiet back entrance to get in and out. Staff were kind.

There was trash in the parking lot. In my room there was an empty water bottle on the floor as well as a plastic sleeve of some kind behind the bed frame. The water pressure wasn’t great, needs updating. No microwave or fridge in regular queen room. I bring a Firestick from home to use in the TVs HDMI port and the signal kept going in and out like it was a bad connection.

Clean Hallways & Cafe

-Booked an upgraded king room. Received the smallest room with a king bed. -Next room was loud and not soundproof. We could hear the man next door conversations through the vents. -On 4/2 Housekeeping walked into Room 210 unannounced 2 times without knocking at 12:13pm and 12:44pm despite informing her earlier before we went to breakfast that we had a late 2pm check out. Aesthetics were nice but it doesn’t compensate for a lack of sleep and privacy.

It is located on Woodward Road and they street race after midnight. I upgraded to a deluxe room which was across from elevator and on the front side of hotel. This location was so noisy from elevator, street noise and the music playing on outside of hotel we couldn’t sleep.i never needed a sleep package in a hotel.
