Great village with good location

Staff was difficult to reach outside of regular hours via this app. They did however have a phone in the room and was quick to respond that way.

Das Haus liegt nahe des Bahbhofs und der kleinen Altstadt von Mittenwald, sodass fußläufig alles zu erreichen ist. Bei Ankunft lag auch viel Material für Wanderungen oder Veranstaltungen in der Umegbung bereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und ich fühlte mich willkommen.

Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig, sodass ich in den ersten Nächten leider das penetrante Schnarchen eines anderen Gastes hörte. Zudem war die Küche sehr klein, was das Kochen und Zubereiten von Speisen erschwerte.

A lovely hotel/mansion with holliday apartments. Very cozy and very traditional according to the area (Tirol/Bavaria area). The hosts were nice and communicative. The best part were the apartments, extremely clean, spatious and very tasteful. The apartment balcony/ terrace led into a beautiful back yard, which was peaceful, quiet and perfect for reading. I didnt use them myself, but i have seen other visitors use bikes from the shed in the backyard. The apartment also had everything one might need including a stove, a microwave, and countless other things such as toasters, coffee machines and electric kettles. Also the kitchen also had a few little things that made the stay easier such as some spices, honey, tea etc, and we had a welcoming gift consisting of a local beer and some soda. The location is also 5 min walk from the city center.

The only thing i found a bit questionable was that me and my friend had to pay 15 Euro extra each, on top of the already paid booking, as a "city tourist tax" (as i understood it). I dont think it is the hosts fault if the city imposes a tourist tax, but it would be nice if it would be included in the booking price so one doesnt get surprised on arrival. That being said it also came with an advantage as we received 2 travel cards which we could use to get free rides on the local public transport and the surrounding areas.

Clean, welcoming, stunning location.

There wasn't a need for anything to be better.

Die Lage, die zuvorkommenden Gastgeber, unser Balkon mit Bergblick und Abendsonne, die saubere Wohnung ( größer, als gedacht), Begrüßungsgetränke, die ruhige und trotzdem zentrale Lage

Appartement spacieux et pratique, très propre, jardin avec vue sur la montagne. Bonne situation, proche de la gare et du centre de la vieille ville, dans un endroit calme. Merci à M. et Mme. Knilling pour ce super séjour!
