Location, efficient air-con, foldout sofabed, sliding doors, kitchen, hammock, small TV. The wooden beams and natural lighting of the apartment. Check-in/out instructions and instructions to pay tourist tax were clear. The apartment was clean and tidy upon check-in. The host communicated dynamically on the day of check in and graciously allowed a colleague to collect keys for us when our inbound flight to Bologna was delayed, avoiding a late check-in fee.

While a great apartment for a couple on a city break travelling light (would totally recommend), this was challenging when travelling with a young child/buggy/hold luggage due to the multiple staircases and lack of elevator access, especially in the summer heat. However, Bologna city itself was comfortable to travel around with a buggy and heavy case due to the many covered smooth-tiled walkways. Lack of plug sockets and especially those that could fit standard EU plugs. There place to hang clothes in the bedroom was small and tricky to access; the bedroom was quite cramped in general (but was made up for by the spacious living area). Some of the electrical fittings and skirting boards were quite loose/worn. It was difficult to control the shower temperature with a long delay between switching the tap hot/cold and the water temperature change being noticeable.

Booked this very nice looking, expensive stay for my birthday weekend. Didn't get to stay here, our booking cancelled the day of check-in, stranded at night in a foreign city.

While I was spammed with emails and messages in the days leading up to my reservation, I was unable to get any response for arranging check-in on the day of my arrival. Tried contacting the team via Booking.com, Whatsapp, phone, SMS, all with no response until after 11pm. The booking was cancelled stating that the accommodation was over-booked, and had to find a hotel at 11pm that would allow late check in.

Clean and Tidy.

Good location on the far side of town in a quiet residential building. It’s about a 2 mi walk to the train station. Several windows with light but no view. Fairly clean and remodeled (some mold in shower). Plenty of hot water for shower, but weak pressure. This is a corporate managed place? It lacks personal touch. I scrubbed the mold out of the washing machine seal. Not well stocked — there was a tiny bit of dish soap, a roll & 1/2 of TP, and some leftover tea and gluten free pasta. Not well equipped if you plan on staying a while. I’m here for ten days, so just stocked up on oil, pepper, etc. but need to get some paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. Usually apartments have a little of the basics so you can get by; this one doesn’t. WiFi is public, unsecured, and pretty slow. Not enough to stream stably. Nice coffee shop next door, and near supermarket and fruit stands. Buses go right by building but I never checked these out.

Great location, simple and user friendly.

Needs a garbage in bathroom. Shower is a bit awkward without a shelf. A little dusty and needs a deep clean. Bed is ok. Need to be able to control heat better, it was very warm at night

The location of the apartment is great! We had easy access on foot to the main attractions in Bologna. The restaurants surrounding the area were also incredible. Gelateria Santo Stefano is right across from the apartment. Bus stations were also really close by. Overall, a great place to stay if you want to explore the city center. Chiara, who gave us the keys, was really nice to us and very helpful! Lovely staff! We had a wonderful time and a comfortable stay ar Rainbow Apartment.
