The hut is in a fantastic location, very scenic and quiet, but even more impressive is the very nice and caring host. He really tries his best to make your stay a wonderful experience. Very recommendable!

"A true fairy tale."

It really was a fairy tale. Breathtaking scenery, definitely nature at her best. The cabin was beautiful and cosy. And very well appointed. I recommend the breakfast. All local produce and enough for supper too. It was just perfect.

Everything was amazing

Restaurants in Velika Planina are rather plain and boring even if service is top. You need to realise that this place is for retreating out of the world rather than to serve ad a base for a Slovenian action-packed adrenaline sports week unless you count exploring snow caves and walking around in that category. Bring a good book, enough food, good company, a sky map and relax!

"You will never regret staying here!"

This place is amazing. Truly a must see/must stay if you are in Slovenia. The host (Rok) was gracious, friendly, and super helpful ensuring we were welcome and well taken care of. My only regret was that we didn’t have more time to stay. Absolutely wonderful experience!
