Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach, Autograph Collection

Vespera is by far our favorite resort on the California coast! Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back — from the sound of the waves and the stunning ocean views from our balcony to the warm hospitality that makes this place feel like home. The location couldn’t be more perfect — steps from the boardwalk, beach, and charming downtown shops. Our dogs love it just as much as we do! The resort amenities truly elevate the experience: the pool, e-bikes, bar, restaurant, and luxurious rooms make for an effortless coastal escape. But what really sets Vespera apart is the incredible staff. Aiden gave us a wonderful welcome at check-in, while Haley and Delaney were so helpful and attentive throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Abey, who not only remembered us from our last visit but even asked how our pups enjoyed their stay — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely valued. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. It’s easy to say we’ll be back again (and again) — Vespera truly sets the standard for coastal hospitality.

The room the parking , I was expecting more for the price.

Great hotel, great location, and great service. We got to watch the whales right from our room, there was a surf competition at the pier, and we rented bikes right at the hotel and explored a couple of beaches.

Great place, excellent location and the staff was super friendly. The restaurant was great too, had a couple meals and they were really good!

The staff was very friendly and provided everything we needed. There were happy hour specials poolside or snack bites inside. The pool is overlooking the beautiful pacific and access to the beach is easy. It’s the perfect location for relaxing alone or with friends or family. There is a neighborhood cat, Salem, that frequents the front who is so precious. This town is walkable and street parking is pretty easy.

Unfortunately this hotel has gone down hill in the past few years, room was very dirty and handles to sink were broken couldn’t open closet handle broken , hair in shower the shower seemed not to have been cleaned just very dirty sorry hate to complain! Since its a very pretty place just wished it was cleaner

Last minute reservation. Very nice facility with relatively short walk to offsite restaurants. We plan to visit again on planned stay.

Great experience.

Staff was frazzled and close to incompetent for check in. Room was ok and the balcony was full of piles of bird poop. The bathroom door was warped and would not close. There was no bottled water in the room. Location was nice. Outside seating was “reserved” for a private event that never seemed to happen which meant there was no lounge seating available outside near a fire feature. The telescope in the room is both cheap and creepy.

Love staying here! This hotel is always so nice and has such great views too!!! We love to relax here even during business trips!
