The Salt House

The property was well located and well furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The kitchen and living areas were lovely to spend time in and the bedrooms were very comfortable. It was great value for money and was perfect base for us - 3 couples and a dog exploring the local area over 4 days! It was very dog friendly although there is no garden or outside area to let them out which is worth noting. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly stay again!

The WiFi coverage was quite poor in some areas, particularly the kitchen, which was a challenge when the network coverage was also intermittent at best! The front door was a bit confusing / difficult to secure at times and takes some getting used to.

The Salt house is very well presented, perfectly located in the centre of Ilfracombe. It's well equipped, the entrance space is a bonus when coming back from the beach! The George and Dragon pub, the best pub in Ilfracombe, is very close by! Great place for a family get together.

perfect location ... and the property was warm, clean, cosy and very inviting we really enjoyed our long weekend and look forward to booking again later in the year. would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

If there was anything worth mentioning it would be the lock on the front door, was a bit awkward after a drink or two. but nothing major it was a lovely (home from home) property.

Location was excellent, 1 minute walk from the beach. Pub opposite was great, and not loud or disturbed us in anyway. Great communication with Jo.

We had a wonderful short stay at The Salt House.The property is a great size with 3 bedroom and entrance area is SO useful to leave damp clothes, boots and pushchairs. Large lounge and kitchen. Very well equipped. The en‐suite bathroom to the main bedroom has a shower and sink only, no toilet so need to use main bathroom. Location is amazing ‐ right in the midst of shops, bars, restaurants and 1 min walk to the harbour. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Ilfracombe.

location is excellent only a few meters from the Harbour, attractions and eating options. options for walking/hiking and water sports - boats rides and a chance to visit Lundy. Great location to visit other local villages and coastal attractions.

Beautiful property and really well equipped Lovely and clean and really comfortable for all the family. Perfect location, really central so we were able to walk everywhere.
