Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel

The young man who checked us in, Mr. Citron, went over and above to accommodate us. I was having trouble with the printer in the business center and he helped me with that and answered my numerous questions graciously and with a smile even though he was terribly busy. This young man deserves a raise!

My office is nearby, you can walk to and from the airport. Hotel lounge is pretty good - stocked with water and soda. you get breakfast and evening appetizers and drinks. Good sleep quality and good internet in the room. The rooms are getting refurbished. Bar is good and busy at night. You have to pay for parking,. Have stayed here many a times and I like it. Don't hear any noise even though its close to airport.

Check-in clerk was rude

The area was sold out and I found a deal for this hotel on Booking.com; so, the room value was what caught my attention. It was also a familiar hotel that I've stayed at before.

On check in the woman was loud, given a lot of people in the lobby (red flag). She was obviously overwhelmed, and told me she could not find a reservation, so I had to search for my confirmation number, I found it and she said oh there it is, but you have to wait until it is cleared as "cleaned." Almost an hour later of sitting in the lobby, I approached the man at the other registration area and he looked on the list and said it had been listed as cleaned and we could go to the room. The room had new wallpaper in the bathroom, you could smell it and floor was a bit messy with glue, plus, maintenance had to come to the room twice to fix the heater.

This was the worst stay at a Sheraton property. The TV in the room didn't work and didn't even receive a discount on the room. Totally unacceptable.
