Ocean Villa Dive Resort - Tulamben

A great peaceful place to stay away from the main road but only a two minute walk, I extended my stay at these beautiful villas. I recommend walking up towards Gunung Agung at sunrise. Excellent staff and a lovely local family vibe 🌸

The whole stay was perfect for me. The room was nice, the bed comfortable and everything I needed. They made my bed each day, luxury, and provided water in the rooms plus coffee and tea. Complimentary breakfast each morning was a great starter. The dive instructor Steve was awesome. He was really accommodating and talked to myself and others there about what we wanted to do and see and then chose times that meant we'd not be in the peak hour dive times. He was funny, friendly and a great dive guide. Everything was right on the doorstep, truck to and from dive sites, and the staff did everything for us. Would absolutely stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable, I slept really well. The best part was that they provide drinking water everyday so you don't have to buy plastic bottles. There was a kettle and tea in the room. I went there to do a freediving course, and it was close to the freediving school. The garden was beautiful. I also liked the driver who took me to my next destination. He was super friendly.

The breakfast could be improved by serving some fruit. You can buy your own fruit though and they'll give you what you need to cut it. But as a "resort" I would have hoped for a little more effort. I found a couple pieces of trash in the bathroom probably from previous customers. And there were stains (probably from water) on the sink handle, they were hard not to spot so I wondered why it wasn't cleaned after previous people checked out. A minor thing but still. Some stains in the towels that could be replaced.

Hospitality and of course food. The food was very delicious! Pets are very friendly =)

Situated up a side straight with beautiful gardens. Large rooms. Good aircon. Comfortable beds. Everything fantastic. The restaurant serves a delicious variety of food at a reasonable price. Did three dives with instructor Steve and had excellent experience. I recommend this place.

There are no nearby restaurants but this is not an issue because the in-house restaurant is good and reasonable.

Staff were friendly throughout our stay, we enjoyed the food served during the day (great pricing for everything too!) and our dive instructor, Steve, was amazing! Had a clear understanding of what to expect for the dive and it was a great experience seeing the Liberty Ship Wreck.

Thank God, finally a dry room without mold. I give full points because this accommodation is really worth it. Rooms perfectly clean and tidy. Amazing staff, very helpful, food very good and solid prices. They will arrange transportation for you from anywhere on the island, I really appreciate it and at a good price. Gojek or Grab does not work in this location. When leaving for the ferry, a very willing and cool young man drove us, he stopped for us to take pictures at the rice fields and wherever we wanted, and finally I tasted Durian, thanks :D. You really don't feel like you're being ripped off here. I was happy to leave them here and I don't regret it. Finally, they also have a pleasant diving instructor from the UK. I highly recommend this accommodation.
