USThe service from all of the Staff at this property was phenomenal. The room was clean and comfortable.. I used the dive shop when I was there and found the people at the dive shop there to be exceptional.
I would have liked more food options but that is just a personal preference.

3-hour ride from airport. Could only access this by private car. I found the contact person a bit pushy in wanting me to sign up for their dive course even though I had explained I had already signed up for one. The menus are placed on the bed intentionally to draw attention to the restaurant items. A lot of religious sculptures everywhere. Was not able to accommodate request to not include yoghurt in a fruit bowl. I also requested as a vegan, not to add meat to a rice dish and to instead have tempeh. After the order I was told there was no tempeh so I was only served rice and veg but was charged the same as if I had meat with it. The peanut sauce accompanying the gado-gado dish was not tasty. Sleep affected by constant use of washing machines that ran into late at night.

La piscine n’était pas très propre
DKBeautiful hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, friendly owner, cute dogs and great views of both the sea and the Mount Agung. The center also offers diving courses and we could rent GoPro camera. There is nothing vegan on the menu, but the owner is very flexible and we got fruit, vegetables and fried tofu+tempeh. Yummy. If we get to Tulamben again, we would stay here as well.
