Stanmore Bay Beach House

We loved this beach house. There were 4 adults and a 9 month old baby. The house equipped with everything you need There was heaps of seating indoor and out a lovely hot shower. The views were tranquil. Very short walk to beach. Would definitely go back. Thanks to the hosts for the welcoming treats.

Location was perfect for the kids. A short walk down to the beach & playground. The kids loved using the kayaks on the water. The house itself was nice. Loved the modern touches and beach theme. Whoever built and designed the interior of this place made use of every single small space. I thought it was clever! Nice and warm. Able to open windows for airflow and use oil heater in main room when chilly. Loved sitting out on the balcony. Views from kitchen were stunning too. Everything was well stocked which I loved!

High chair was very grubby, I had to cover it with a towel to feed my baby as the cover & belt were abit mouldy. I would recommend getting a new one but without fabric for easy breezy cleaning, you will thank me for it! Bathroom is crammed. If you're a big person, you will not be able to get in to the sliding shower doors. Dryer is under the house which you need to walk outside to get to.

Everything was done to make our stay absolutely wonderful with lots of extra touches that were a pleasant surprise.

Because at times we had 11 people in the beach house (some of them big people, and because it does sleep 8 people, having only one bathroom, and a small shower could be a problem. This was the only thing that wasn't perfect.

it had everything you needed as well as many helpful touches such as the high chair, hotties, soap and so much more

only thing is that the mattress in the bunk bed was a bit uncomfortable

Great location close to the beach, the house was very well stocked with amenities and appliances, everything you need is there. It was warm and cosy for our mid winter stay.

It isn’t a stand alone beach house as we had expected, and we could here the comings and goings from next door.

Loved everything about this property. Was spotless, super tidy, had everything we could want when staying away from home, even had an area set up for children with toys and other entertainment - brilliant. Will definitely be back and can definitely recommend.

The only thing I can say was a small issue for us was that it was raining the entire time we were there - (until the day we left of course :( ) so it would be really helpful to have a dryer to dry clothing. Other than that there is honestly nothing that we didn't like.
