Timos Hotel

Only 2 minutes walking from the beach. Close to the main street. The shop is on the corner, 1 minute away. Very nice and friendly staff and receptionist. We got fresh towel and room cleaning every day. Super accommodation with hair dryer and balcony with pool view. Many thanks for receptionist lady, we could stay longer in the room and have a shower on our last day.

Mary & Spiros along with their boys are the best hosts ever. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We have been coming here to Laganas since 1997 and have stayed at Timos Hotel since 2017. All the staff are very friendly. We normally have a big family room which is massive with plenty of room for me, my partner and the kids nut this time it was only me and my partner so we had a normal room. the room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. We had enough facillities to make basic food but we only made ourselves breakfast as we love to eat out at different restaurants every evening. We had a kettle and toaster which was very useful and a full size fridge. The shower was hot every morning and evening. The cleaners came every day to empty the bins, brush and mop the floor and give us clean towels. The beds were changed every other day. The pool area is kept nice and clean througout the day and most days Mary is by the pool in the afternoon. There is always someone available if you need anything. The location of the hotel is perfect for us. It is behind the main strip but not too close that you hear the noise from the strip. It is a 2 minute walk from one of the best beaches in Zakynthos and there are plenty of restaurants on the beach or on the main road all within a few minutes walk. Don't let people put you off Laganas. There are plenty of nice walks along the back roads with loads of tavernas so you don't have to be near the "party kids" . Hotel Timos is the best hotel we have stayed in in Zakynthos due to the lovely hosts, perfect location and cleanliness of the hotel. Last winter they started updating the rooms and so far have 6 done. i had a sneak look in them and they are gorgeous. They will be updating more this winter so hoping we get to stay in one of them next year. We are already looking at going back again next year.

There is nothing I dislike about this hotel. It is perfect for our family. Location is brilliant, hosts are lovely, staff are lovely

Great location, few meters from beach, in front of hotel is small market and few steps is also the main Laganas road with shops, restaurants, bars and parties. Great mattress, every day clean towels.

It could be more clean in shower and bathroom. Smell from sink.

The location was good and close to beach and restaurants.

Not a very well maintained hotel. No care put into the room and surrounds of hotel. Just outside the hotel is full of rubbish. Pool water was clean but around the pool was cigarettes butts. Clearly staff do the bare minimum of cleaning. We had an apartment that had the oldest hot plate I've seen that wasn't working. A very uninviting living area that had two couches that we didn't even want to use. Nothing else in that room.
