Very small cottage, and very very small bathroom. It’s Ok for one night. Cottage is beautiful outside but inside is very disappointing. Staff is very friendly and breakfast normal

nice hotel, great necessary midway point for travelers, as there is not many spots in east Iceland.
We stayed in one of the cabins available which meant we had a kitchen we could use. The cabin is behind the main building which was ok since you could go through the bar to get into the main hotel. The beds are narrow and the shower cubicle is a bit tight to get into but for a night or two, it was perfectly acceptable.
Clean, easy to access and good surrounding areas. Breakfeast was a good included bonus. I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is clean, tidy, and quite comfortable. The building was previously a school so, not being purpose-built, some of the rooms - particularly the bathrooms were very small, but functional. The breakfast was a ‘continental’ style with a few interesting Icelandic additions. All perfectly OK for a night or two. I would happily return
