Hatfield Lodge

It’s in a great location and quite as I always stay in the lodge and great I can go to the hotel for refreshments & food if needed, the staff are really nice aswell and very helpful.

One of the beds there was something not right with it & dipped which made it uncomfortable.

Fantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again.

Location was OK

The first room had no lock on window also the only one plug in the room which was a double only one side worked as other side was broken, also says rooms are no smoking but room 2 is right next to a snooker hall and everybody smokes by the window and the smoke comes into the room so technically that room is smoking in my eyes as when we walked in it smelt of smoke because of every one smoking outside the window. I did complain and was moved to another room where we stayed for the rest of our stay.

The hotel could benefit from a thorough refurbishment. Upon entering, the room was unpleasant, and the bathroom was even more so.

Two separate building, You find the building, there is no reception or staff You see a building on the other side of the road and that is the reception, did not know that hatfield lodge is part of a big hotel chain, there was not staff at hafield lodge it was a strange set up. When we did meet something we did explain that it was different, there is nothing to say where you need to check in
