Chiverton House

Fantastic place. The room was spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood. The parking is on-street only, but easily found at the end of the road. The breakfast was delicious and quite varied. It was definitely good value for money. The owners were friendly and helpful, offering insightful advice and good places to eat. I would stay here again.

Really lovely stay - our hosts were fantastic: clean room, excellent breakfasts, lots of local knowledge and tips we actually used. We arrived early off the night train, which was no problem at all: they have space to leave luggage and then they got our room ready early. Really good location, near bus stops for exploring; a few minutes from the town centre and train station, but those few minutes are walking along the seafront. And you are nearer Newlyn. Room very well equipped - tv, coffee, good shower, lots of plugs for charging. Secure out of hours (guests get extra keys). All very COVID secure - we felt very safe here.

Despite a difficult journey and late arrival, Alan was most helpful and welcoming. Throughout our stay the atmosphere was friendly and sociable. Our room was very comfortable with an en-suite and we slept soundly. Breakfast was substantial and the choice perfectly adequate, if not extensive. All-in-all a great experience, I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely, centrally located house with street parking. Host is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and furniture/linen/towels/toiletries are of good quality. A good quality breakfast set us up for the day. Note: COVID compliant measures are in place. Would definitely return here.

We stayed for a 3 night break. Alan & Sally were great hosts. Ideal place for us to walk to most local attractions like St Michaels mount, Mousehole, and all local pubs,restaurants,and local shopping amenities. Room was spotless,Breakfast was perfect.Also cereals, fruit, yoghurts and juices. Alan gives great advice where to visit. And very knowledgable about Cornwall in general. Had time for everyone, and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend staying at this great B&B.

Very clean, homely, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts

Couldn't get in at first, but that was as much because I had never used the key number lock before, not because the door wouldn't open! Excellent place in a quiet part of town, 15 minutes or so walk to the rail station, good facilities and equally good breakfast. Would visit again and recommend.

A lovely room in a great house, situated in a quiet street about 200 yards from the sea and a promenade, near shops, a lovely walk to the town through sub tropical gardens. Lovely breakfasts friendly owners and Covid secure. The only tiny gripe is that the cafetière coffee tasted instant rather than ground. I would stay here again.
