The apartment was very clean and dust free which goes along way in my opinion. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and towels were all provided. Nicely equipped kitchen with open space dining/living area and fun decor. Great location in the centre of Bath walking distance to shopping, restaurants, groceries and attractions. Couldn't ask for more for the value. Easy check in and check out.

The bed was just a bit too firm for me.

The apartment is well furnished and laid out. The bed was huge, the kitchen is really well equipped and leaving tea, coffee and fresh milk for guests is a lovely touch. The location is fantastic.

Unfortunately the apartment, particularly the bedroom had a horrible damp, musty smell. When we arrived the windows were open so the owners were obviously aware of this. The first night it was so bad it really impacted our sleep. I contacted the owner and was assured someone would be in that day to freshen the place up....no one turned up. The next morning I got a call from a verybpleasant girl to say they would definitely have someone in that day.....no one turned up! We had to keep the bedroom door open and the windows in the bedroom and lounge open to try and keep the smell at bay. Very disappointing to be promised something twice and for it not to be delivered on. Also feel we were scammed a bit because the owners obviously knew there was a problem but still left us there. There were no instructions on how to use anything such as the heating, hot water etc. The stairs are not the best.

The window was broken in our room. The host knew about this as there were towels stacked up on the window ledge to absorb the water and the carpet was wet. At first I assumed the last guest had left the window open in a down pour but it turned out that rain water was dripping into our bedroom, heavily enough to wake us up. The place started to smell, the carpet was soaked. It was awful. After putting in an initial complaint with the management company we were told we’d get 50% refund and then booking.com stepped in and told us they’d get us a full refund. This was a week ago. Both complained have been ignoring my messages and booking.com seemed to have closed down the messages so I can’t get hold of them about it. It’s very frustrating and I’ve wasted a lot of time and energy trying to get what was promised to me to over a week ago. Right now I don’t thing I’ll use booking.com again for hotel reservations and I’ve been using them for years but I feel like they’ve just ignored this issue and I don’t know what else to do. They’ve made a bad situation worse and I wish I’ve never booked the hotel.
