Magnuson Hotel Virginia Beach

Well where do I start……from check in the lady at the desk had a bad attitude. A half dressed unbelted woman propositioned my wife to my dismay. Went to the room and to my suprise it didn’t look like the picture. Bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom fan or where the fan used to be with the exposed plug was shocking to see. No blanket so I had to keep my wife warm the old fashioned way. Stayed for 3 days with the same towels and linens. Was never offered any or told about any of the amenities as advertised. I would rather stay in the Waffle House parking lot in a sleeping bag than EVER stay at the Magnuson again! RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!

I liked the rooms and the environment some of the guests played the music a lil loud late night but other then that very peaceful

That yall didn't have a coffee or tea maker in the rooms like the advertisement said

The room was dirty, not cleaned very well. Holes in the walls and ceiling. Stuff on the shower and window curtains. Very dusty.

Boy/girl fight next door night one. No phone to front desk. People knocking on door at all hours. Would not use shower. No ice. Got out alive.

Was in town volunteering and when I arrived the room was very dirty. I was moved rooms and promised at least a partial refund. I stuck it out only being in the room a short a time as I could. I don't know that I can recommend this to anyone. I am on another trip to the area and chose Hilton and am having a much better experience.

It was dirty, sketchy and scary. The property doesn’t look anything like the photos on website. Sketchy people walking on the property after 2am, talking so loud. I could not sleep all night worrying. We even shortened our stay. It was supposed be a non-smoking room, but it was terribly smelly with both cigarette and weed.
