Pittsburgh Airport Inn and Suites

Very reasonable relative to most of the other hotels during the NFL draft. Was a little worried at first because it was transitioning from a different brand and the front of building looked like renovations were just beginning or sorely needed. Once inside we never saw anything or heard anything that seemed like that. Everything in the areas that we saw were in great shape and clean.

I don’t have any complaints about this property.

We did not have the breakfast.

When my 12-year-old daughter and I checked in around 10:15 p.m., we went up to our room and the door was already open. I thought I had the wrong room number, but our key had the same number. I stuck my head in and said “Hello?”, and instead found one queen bed with absolutely no bedding on it. The sheets were crumpled on the floor near the desk. The pillows were also on the floor, all over the room. We went downstairs and explained to the front desk clerk. She apologized about the room and said she would speak to the staff. She gave us a new room and told us she would talk to the manager about having money taken off of our bill for the late-night inconvenience. Nothing was ever taken off of our bill.

The front desk people, both the lady who checked me in and the lady who checked me out were friendly and helpful and kind. The room was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The shuttle driver was friendly, chatting with everyone on the way to the airport, too. They all reminded me why I still love Pittsburgh and Pittsburghers.

Nothing comes to mind.

The value was the biggest bonus. We were in the area to attend a funeral in Aliquippa so the location was convenient. We were not in need of hotel amenities but more interested in a clean and comfortable place to stay. We found that here.

Because the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, the breakfast bar was sparse and very underwhelming. We chose to eat breakfast out.

The staff was friendly, she was the only one there checking in people late night during a snow storm. She was so pleasant and helpful.

My door was not secure when it locked. The hotel is under construction and it looked like they changed the door but it was bigger than the frame and despite using all tbe locks it was noy secure. I was also right by one of the exit doors so I adjusted enough to feel secure and go to sleep. I got in at 3am and and was out before 10am.
