Breakfast was great. Location would have been pleasant except for traffic noise which was probably exacerbated by roadworks near by

The staff were very friendly and so helpful and the food was very good. A nice large room too. The dining and bar area and the outside area was lovely. In such a lovely village, but a shame the road is so busy.

The room suffered from a lot of traffic noise. It was made worse because we needed to have some windows open, due to the hot weather. We didn't expect the road to be so busy, day and night. Most of the lorries were not keeping to the 30mph limit, on a narrow road.To be fair it is just the way it is because we realised it's a through route. If ever there was a village needing to be by-pased this is it.

Welcoming staff, comfy bed, easy parking and good food! If you are there for business and need to be out early. The breakfast doesn't start until 8 but, they gave me a wonderful breakfast box so no issues.

Comfortable stay and very friendly staff. Would definitely come again. Special mention to the Bar man Harry who made the best cocktails ever.

Good location, but located by a sometimes busy road. It didn’t affect our sleep though.

Comfy and large room. Super clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly staff and tasty dinner. Dog friendly:)

Breakfast - expensive for what it was ( especially drinks - 3 GBP for a small cup of tea! I wish I had gone back to the room to make one with facilities provided), long wait, some breakfast dishes could have a better description of what they are... Our room was facing quite a busy road which was noisy through the night (cars)- we couldn't open the window which wasn't a problem with cool weather but I can imagine it may be an issue during the summer.
